I work next to a planned parenthood, and every day I see protesters standing out front if its gates.

I have several problems with this, the first of which is that I use planned parenthood to get birth control because I don't have insurance right now.  They give pre-and post- natal care and educate people about stds among much else, and the protesters are discouraging people from getting the help they need.

The second problem I have with the protesting is that they are honestly not making a bit of difference on how many abortions are preformed each year.  They should do what all stay at home moms and grandparents do best, a bake sale.  They could be devoting their time to raising money for Christian couples to adopt or help at the pregnancy resource center so that pregnant women have other options.  No, instead they decide to protest and waste hours of their day don't nothing but holding up a sign.  Rugh that bugs me.

So we are all moved in and it has been an eventful few days.

  • The cat enjoys sleeping during the day and being awake at night, it is truly Andrew's child.  Anyway, the cat liked jumping on my head at night to wake me up to play.
  • The cat has some kind of butt worm, and we have to give it meds but other than that, the vet says that Rubius is one of the best kittens she has seen in a while.
  • I lost my wedding ring, and then found it again.  I don't like to sleep with it on, so I put it on top of the TV, the next day when I went to go put it back on, it was missing.  I tore the whole living room apart and could not find it, Andrew dug though the trash, we moved the couches, and then we turned our attention to kitty.  I thought maybe he ate it, so I kept watching the litter box.  At 9pm today I was going though the bedroom looking for work clothes for Andrew and all of a sudden my ring falls out from one of the laundry baskets.  I just about had a heart attack.
That is what has been going on here for the past few days.  I still don't have a job, but now that I found my ring I think that maybe thinks will be looking up for me.

Andrew left this morning for Indy, I will probably not see him until Thursday the 30th.  In our almost 3 years of being together we have never been apart this long.  Weird.

So many awesome things are going on right now!

My 21st birthday is Saturday, as well as our 3 month anniversary and then on Monday the 20th Andrew is moving down to Indy to start his new job and he moves into the new apartment that day as well (it is a two bedroom, has central air, and a dishwasher!).

I am moving down on the 31st of August....so if any of you are ever in Indy, let me know!

My Super Amazing Husband

Andrew built me a table!!!  With some of our wedding money, we decided to buy a new kitchen table.  (Quick side story, as some of you know already, our old kitchen table was a hand-down from a lady I worked with, and we had to take it a part in order to move it...well...it never got put back together quite right so it was held together by duct tape...at least the chairs were in good shape and we were able to donate them to Goodwill).  Anyway, we went to the Art Van clearance center (they were having a sale ) and I let Andrew pick out any table that he wanted as long as it was not too big to fit in our kitchen (good wife skills right?  yea, your jealous)  and over the past two days he has been putting together my 4 new chairs and table.  We actually had dinner on the table tonight!!  The chairs held us and everything, I am so impressed.

So, with our first big married project successfully under our belts, we now need to tackle the problem of our lease being up in August, but I think that if we can build a table together (I helped by not doing that annoying thing of talking) that we can do anything....right???

Well, at any rate, its been a month since we have been married and we are still together so we must be doing something right....
